James F. Bell, CPA

James F. Bell, CPA, is founder of the JF Bell Group. Jim was born in Syracuse, New York, but has lived in southeast Idaho for over 35 years. In 1978 he received a B.A. in Accounting from Idaho State University. While attending ISU, he served on the ASISU finance committee and was appointed charman his senior year.

We are proud that Jim was reportedly the first CPA candidate to be licenced within the State of Idaho based soley upon extensive experience gained through solo practice. He currently chairs the Idaho State Board of Accountance Commitee on Continuing Professional Education. His practice emphasizes tax, financial, business, and mangement counsulting.

Jim is former two-term president of the Idaho Falls Achiever's Lead Club and has served on the board of directors as the treasurer for numerous groups including the Idaho Falls Bonneville and Central Civitan clubs. He has been active in Idaho Falls Opera Theater, Christian Counseling Services, and "I Love ISU." Jim is active in his church and has served many positions including church moderator, chairman of deacons, and treasurer. As an avid pilot, Jim is active in most local and state aeronautical programs.

Jim and his wife, Teri, have four children and four grandchildren. They enjoy church activities, NASCAR, flying their airplane, and traveling.
